Made by Dennis Dubourdieu who single-handedly dragged Bordeaux dry white wine into the 21st century (but sadly who passed away last year). The name Floridene comes from his wife Florence and, of course Dennis which shows how much this wine meant to him.
2012 was a great year for Bordeaux white wines and in particular those from the southern edge came through fine as they were less affected by the warm summer. Add this to the skills of a master winemaker and you have a perfect match.
