Clos du Beau Père 2015

39.75

Official Tasting Notes:
Very deep crimson. Meaty and proper Pomerol on the nose. Very juicy and round and fleshy and fun with lots of fireworks explosiveness on the palate but a bit rude and gamey. Ambitious, certainly.

John’s View:
Not sure what Jancis means by a wine being ‘rude and gamey’ but then again I rarely do understand anything she says. On the plus front I would agree with the juicy fireworks bit. If there are any better ways of adding to roast chicken or duck than this little beauty they are probably illegal.
Drink by 2035 – but will probably keep going well beyond that if you look after it properly!
